Building clarity and confidence,
one word at a time
Meet Shea Westcott
your Edmonton-based Speech Pathologist
My journey to speech pathology began with a simple observation:
So many people struggle to express themselves clearly, often feeling unheard or misunderstood
This realization sparked a passion in me to help others find their voice and connect meaningfully.
In 2006, I completed my Masters in Speech-Language Pathology in Minnesota. Eager to make a difference, I moved to Edmonton to build my career, focusing on stuttering and effective communication.
As I worked with clients, I saw firsthand the life-changing impact of improved communication. Watching clients overcome obstacles and gain confidence in their speech was incredibly rewarding. Every day, I’m grateful for the opportunity to be a part of these personal transformations and to witness the joy that comes when someone can finally express themselves fluently, easily, and confidently.

A welcoming environment
When I’m not helping clients find and use their voices, my home is filled with the joyful chaos of family life. As a parent to four energetic children, I have plenty of real-world practice in communication and patience. Our days are filled with the excited chatter of children, the rush of sports practices, and the warmth of family time.
If we meet in my home office, you might be greeted by more than just me. My two fluffy assistants, Pip and Millie, are often on hand to offer a purr of encouragement.
Don’t worry if you’re not a cat person or if allergies are a concern. We have options! We can easily arrange for virtual therapy sessions to ensure your comfort and focus. Your well-being is my top priority, whether we’re meeting in-person or online.
